Internship at KOKO3, 2017-2018
I accomplished four months of internship at KOKO3 Oy in Helsinki. KOKO3 is a design agency that creates interior and furniture design for public spaces as well as graphic design and brand identity for companies.
During my internship, I was involved in many of their projects and worked together in groups with the other workers. I was given different kinds of tasks, for example to draw technical drawings of floor plans and detail drawings of furniture in AutoCAD.
I prepared material for customer presentations, using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I made indexes of the furniture and material choices and of the technical drawings in the projects, using Excel.
I also had the possibility to take part in some customer meetings and to join co-workers on project follow-ups. Additionally, I assisted with other tasks such as keeping in touch with material and furniture manufactures or suppliers and ordering material samples. I also had the opportunity to learn the basics in Rhinoceros 3D-software and how to render the 3D-models using V-Ray.

Internship at idaDesign, 2016
I accomplished ten weeks of internship at
idaDesign Oy in Helsinki. idaDesign is an interior
architecture studio which designs both private and
public interiors. Ida Pihlajaniemi and Mirja Nurmi work in the office.
My tasks during the internship were varying, but one
of the most extensive tasks were to create technical
drawings, floor plans and projections with AutoCAD.
I improved my skills a great deal, I got a lot faster and better at using AutoCAD. I joined Ida and Mirja to the customers to take a look at the next project. This gave me experience in measuring the apartments rapidly and efficiently and then I was able to draw the exact measures in AutoCAD. They also included me in the process of choosing
materials and furniture for several projects,
whereupon I prepared all the material for the
customer meetings. Other tasks were for example working with the company´s Pinterest-site and
editing pictures for their website.
